(KRON) -- Two people were hospitalized after being stabbed in Berkeley on Friday evening, the Berkeley Police Department said. Police are still searching for the suspect. Police responded to a possible home intruder on El Camino Real near the Oakridge Steps just before 6:30 p.m. Friday. Officers located two victims, who were taken to Highland Hospital. A homeowner armed with a hammer recalls fighting back against an intruder who had broken into his Norwalk home on Thursday.The incident happened around 1:45 a.m. as the victim and his wife were sound asleep.
